Marriage Delay — Astrological Analysis
Marriage delay analysis examines the seventh house, Venus, Jupiter and the running dasha periods to identify what the chart indicates about the timing of marriage. It gives an indicative window, not a date — no chart can supply a wedding date for an event that has not been arranged.
What is examined
The seventh house and its lord; the position and strength of Venus and Jupiter; Mars placements relevant to the seventh and eighth; the running dasha and antardasha; and the current transits of Jupiter and Saturn across the relevant houses.
What the answer looks like
An indicative window — for example, that the period from a certain dasha change onward is more supportive than the current one — together with an explanation of which factor is producing the delay.
For many people the useful finding is simply that nothing in the chart is obstructed, and the supportive period has not yet arrived. That is a common and unremarkable result, and it deserves to be reported plainly rather than dressed up as a problem requiring intervention.
A note on how this subject is usually sold
Marriage delay is one of the most heavily exploited concerns in this market, particularly where a daughter’s marriage is involved. Families are told about severe doshas, warned about consequences, and quoted large sums for remedies. If that has happened to you, get a second reading before you spend anything.
Common questions
Can astrology tell me exactly when I will get married?
No. It can indicate periods that are more supportive than others, based on dasha, antardasha and the transits of Jupiter and Saturn over the seventh house. Those come as windows of several months. Anyone giving you a specific month and year for a marriage that has not yet been arranged is telling you something the method cannot support.
Why is my marriage delayed?
Charts show several recognised patterns — an afflicted seventh house or its lord, certain Saturn placements, particular Mars positions, or simply a dasha sequence in which the supportive period has not yet arrived. Very often the last of those is the whole story, and it is the least alarming explanation. We will tell you which applies to your chart.
Are remedies necessary?
Sometimes, and often not. Where the chart indicates one it is suggested with its reasoning. Where the indication is simply that the supportive period has not yet begun, no remedy changes that and we will not sell you one. If you have been told that an expensive ritual is required before you can marry, that is worth questioning.
Does Mangal Dosha cause marriage delay?
